2015 TGCA Studbook Approvals
To enter TGCA Studbook Approvals, horses must meet the following criteria:
- 100% Gypsy Cob (Gypsy Vanner/Irish Cob/Irish Tinker/Traditional Cob), no partbreds or horses of inadequate cob type
- Be a stallion or a mare (NOT a gelding)
- Be at least three (3) years of age
- Have not entered a TGCA Studbook Approval previously within that calendar year (horses may re-enter in different years, and are encouraged to do so)
Horses will be separated into four books upon inspection:
- TGCA 1st Premium (Premium HB1)
- TGCA 2nd Premium (Premium HB2)
- TGCA 3rd Premium (Base Premium)
- Unapproved
1st and 2nd Premium horses are recommended breeding animals, and 3rd Premium horses are accepted breeding animals. Additional titles of "STAR" will be awarded to any horse awarded 1st Premium in two seperate calendar years, and "preference" to any horse who has produced three offspring that have attained a 1st Premium judgement.

Please fill out the following form PER HORSE. Each member of the TGCA can enter up to ten (10) horses per Approval (there are two sets of Approvals per year, in June and December, so every member can therefore submit 20 different horses per year).
