****PLEASE NOTE: Odeon will be taking requests to update and expand this classlist to best accomodate all the Gypsy horses showing in HF. Please feel free to PM her about any classlist requests***
Rules:
1. Please adhere to all universal HF showing guidelines when entering TGCA shows. Overshowing is not tolerated.
2. Only PUREBRED Gypsy horses can compete in classes specified for "Gypsy Cobs" (this includes Gypsy Vanners, Irish Cobs, Irish Tinkers & Traditional Cobs).
3. Only PARTBRED (25% blood or more, but less than 100% pure) Gypsy horses can compete in classes specified for "Part Gypsies".
4. Horses may enter unlimited in hand classes as long as they are eligible for those classes.
5. Horses may enter a maximum of 5 under saddle/driven classes per show UNLESS they compete in one of the following (in which case cross entering is not permitted:
---Hunter Classes (horses may only enter the 4 sections of a single hunter class)
--Combined Driving Classes (horses may only enter the 3 sections of a single CDE class)
6. Horses MUST be registered with the HFTGCA to compete in TOYS qualifier shows. This is not the case for "Open" TGCA shows.
Why are the TOYS Qualifier Classlists smaller than normal Open shows?
TOYS Qualifiers count towards the end of year TOYS event, which functions as the TGCA's world championship show. Horses that have attained a CHAMPION or RESERVE CHAMPION in a particular class during the year in TOYS Qualifiers will be eligible to compete in that class at the TOYS event at the end of the year, which offers double points and accolades. Furthermore, horses that compete successfully in TOYS qualifiers and the TOYS end of year show are eligible for SUPREME CHAMPIONSHIP awards in December, similar to the AHA's Years End Awards or the Eclipse Awards, where horses that have competed particularly well during the year are nominated and judged (to receive titles such as TOYS 2015 SUPREME DRESSAGE CHAMPION, TOYS 2015 SUPREME STALLION CHAMPION).
